About Weil Xuan

Weil Xuan is an Audit Partner at HLB Ler Lum Chew PLT with over a decade of experience in Audit and Assurance. He began his career in 2009 and has since built a robust track record, including a significant tenure at a Big 4 accounting firm and a three-year stint in Singapore where he managed clients across diverse industries such as gaming, manufacturing, trading, FMCG, oil and gas services, property development, and multimedia.

His expertise extends to specialised engagements, including financial due diligence and reviews of prospective financial information and pro-forma financial statements. His meticulous approach and strategic insights have consistently supported corporate initiatives and ensured regulatory compliance. Weil Xuan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK, is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), and a registered auditor with the Audit Oversight Board. He is also an active member of MIA’s Small and Medium Practices Committee (SMP).

Throughout his career, Weil Xuan has audited public listed companies ranging from micro to large market capitalisations, as well as multinationals and SMEs for group reporting and statutory purposes. His experience also includes conducting special purpose audits, reviews, agreed upon procedures, and other assurance engagements, along with reviewing profit and cashflow forecasts and performing financial due diligence reviews.
