About Wong

Wong is a home-grown partner at HLB Ler Lum Chew PLT with over 20 years of expertise in assurance and business advisory services. He has managed audits for a diverse portfolio of entities—from public listed companies to multinational corporations—demonstrating a proven ability to coordinate cross-jurisdictional component auditors and deliver high-quality assurance on complex financial structures.

Throughout his career, Wong has led audits across various industries such as construction, information technology, manufacturing, property development, real estate investment trusts, investment holding, food and beverage, hospitality and resorts, not-for-profit organizations, and retail, trading and distribution. His experience also includes special purpose audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements, as well as serving as a reporting accountant for major corporate exercises like initial public offerings, funds raising, significant acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and financial due diligence reviews.

Wong holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a Fellow Member of Certified Practising Accountants Australia, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of INSOL International, and a registered auditor with the Audit Oversight Board.
