SUET CHIN brings with her a wealth of experience spanning more than 30 years in taxation. Her sphere of action ranges from tax planning, corporate restructuring to due diligence exercises. She oversees tax advisory on local and cross border transactions, tax audit & investigation, direct & indirect tax engagement and compliance as well as preparing transfer pricing documentation.

With her keen understanding of her clients’ industry, objectives and people, she offers clients effective and practical tax solutions, structuring and planning. Her breadth of experience has allowed her to assist clients in solving complex tax issues and in creating tax opportunities.

In her role, she advises a full range of clients which included privately held businesses, listed entities, multi-nationals and high net worth individuals, on managing their tax affairs. She has considerable experience working with clients in diverse sectors including manufacturing, telecommunications, property development, property investments, trading, restaurants, quarry, import and export, offshore transactions, construction, agriculture, investment holdings and freight forwarders.

Suet Chin is well regarded by both clients and colleagues for her pragmatic, hands-on and personable approach. She is a graduate of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) and is fluent in English, Malay as well as Cantonese dialect.
